Old '10 to New '11

I figure it's probably best I start uploading here in addition to my Deviantart account, as teachers say blogs are better... So this is a little art dump of the pieces I've completed recently. I'm going to try uploading more sketches and practice pieces as they come.

Ronald Reagan portrait; commission for Christmas 2010. Took around 30 hours total, including the starting sketch and planning. 11x14 Bristol paper; 4H, HB, 3B, and 8B pencils.
John Wayne portrait; auction donation, May 2011. Did this as a charitable donation to a silent auction in Colorado for Junior Achievement http://www.ja.org/ . This one took about 25 hours total, most of which was spent on the clothing. It ended up selling for $225 USD. 11x14 Bristol paper; 4H, HB, 3B, and 8B pencils.

Bastila and Atton; commission, June 2011. Bastila Shan and Atton Rand are characters from Bioware's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic videogame. The request came from someone participating in a Role Playing storyline, in which the two are in a relationship, and she wanted an image depicting this. Spent about 3 hours shading the faces, and 15 doing the clothing. 9x12 Bristol; 3H, HB, 3B pencils.
